Climate Central: States of Change
As an extension of our ongoing maintenance relationship, Climate Central asked us to develop a microsite for their States of Change initiative – aimed at highlighting the effects of climate change on a local level through the stories of everyday people. The centerpiece of the site is an interactive United States map that displays charts and data about each state, while filtering in content from the rest of the website that is relevant to that state (with additional options to further explore content by keyword search, topic, or media type). Also included is a form for users to submit their own stories of how climate change has affected their lives.

The team at Visual Chefs is the absolute best web development team we both have ever worked with. Their communication is outstanding, their responses are often immediate regardless of the time of day, and their work is thorough, thoughtful, and typically way better than the solution we had in mind. Their project management sets an example for how all web and design projects should be handled - in an organized, efficient, and good-humored way. In addition to being exceptionally technically-skilled and resourceful, they're a creative group who really cares about their clients and the content they're working with. Plus, they're genuinely great people! In short, we'd be lost without them.
