ShockoeForward
We worked with our good friends at Top Dead Center to create a social collaboration site for The Shockoe Partnership and The Martin Agency.
At the heart of ShockoeForward is our custom developed Comment Wall module and its associated extensions. We enhanced ExpressionEngine's native comment module to create relationships between the people of Shockoe Bottom and the needs of the Shockoe Community.
The module creates "Project Partners" by linking project owners with commenters to form a group of members working together to achieve a common goal. Additional functionality such as flagging comments as "Keyframes", attaching files to comments, and sharing comments further promotes collaboration between users.
In addition to the commenting tools, we added front-end moderation capabilities to enable the site admins and project owners to manage all project related content and comments without accessing the ExpressionEngine control panel.
